Are you a lil eepy hard-working employee?

Me too, besties, me too. As a professional meme harvester, I've been working hard all week gathering the memes on the big screen, medium screen, and little screen. It's non-stop, I tell you! I'm exhausted. Making people laugh through their phones and computers is hard work. You wouldn't think it would be, since you're constantly sending memes to your friends. But it's actually a totally different monster. Kind of like how they say don't monetize what you love. And by they I mean me, because any time I've started to try to monetize what I love, I start to resent it. Because now it's a dang job, and I was meant to frolic through the fields! If you feel like you, too, were simply meant to be free and LOL with friends, then let's meme about it. Please, it's all we have left!

  • Memeing might be my job, what is your job? I'm sure it is very interesting. That being said, I'm a big advocate of meme breaks in your workday. That means you stop to scroll through some memes every now and then. Not doom scroll, that's not what I mean at all! I have been there one too many times. The algorithm feels like a trap! You just want a taste of some LOLs and then BAM, it's been three hours. No, no. We just mean a little quick scroll through a finite listicle of memes to satisfy the soul.

  • Can you even remember a time without memes? I mean, sure, it doesn't feel like thaaaaat long ago for some of us. I remember growing up with a landline and written notes and letters. But once memes hit the scene, it's like they were always meant to be. And, honestly, if you think about it, they have always been there. Maybe not as they appeared on the web, but if you really look, there were memes everywhere. Hand-drawn memes, spoken memes, choreographed memes, oh, they were always there. So truly, memes are just an evolved form of humor and comedy and we are here for it.
